COVID-19

How we're taking care of you

At Bolton Hotel, we want to provide all our guests with peace of mind that their health and wellbeing is our very top priority.

The hotel has a stringent cleaning regime and a number of preventative measures to ensure your safety as the country moves to the government's COVID-19 protection framework, also known as the 'Traffic Light System'.

AN UPDATE ON VACCINATION PASSES

At Bolton Hotel, we want to provide all our guests with peace of mind that their health and wellbeing is our very top priority.

As part of the government's COVID-19 protection framework, also known as the traffic light system, hospitality venues are required to ensure all guests aged 12 and over are double vaccinated to gain entry from Friday 3rd December.

This requirement will cover many areas of the hotel including our Lobby Café, Artisan Restaurant, Conference Facilities and Fitness Centre. Whilst this requirement does not cover our accommodation, we would be unable to operate safely having two different mandated settings within the hotel.

As such, Bolton Hotel has decided to implement this requirement for our whole property. This will require all guests and visitors aged 12 years and over to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in the form of the government's My Vaccine Pass from Friday 3rd December.

WHY DO WE REQUIRE VACCINE PASSES?

Our decision to require Vaccine Passes to enter the building will ensure Bolton Hotel has the highest levels of protection against COVID-19 for our team, guests, contractors and visitors; fulfilling our legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. It also means we can continue to provide all our popular facilities and services to the best of our ability.

Bolton Hotel believes this is the right decision to ensure we can continue to provide our world-class hospitality in the safest possible way.

HOW TO GET YOUR PASS

Vaccine passes can be requested from mycovidrecord.health.nz, over the phone at 0800 222 478 or in person at participating pharmacies. Those who are unable to get the vaccine for medical reasons can receive a vaccine pass through an exemption process; your doctor can apply for this on your behalf.

ENTERING BOLTON HOTEL

From Friday 3rd December you will need to show your Vaccine Pass for verification.

You will also be required to scan in with the NZ COVID Tracer App and while Wellington is at the Orange or Red setting of the COVID-19 protection framework, you will also be required to wear a mask in public areas, unless eating, drinking or exercising.

You may be asked to present your Vaccine Pass on more than one occasion if entering the building multiple times. We truly appreciate your patience while we adapt to the new system.
