Wellington's community heritage festival returns, celebrating the region's historic people, places and stories through guided tours, talks, exhibitions and open days.
The line-up is now live with free and ticketed events across the city from the 18th of October to the 9th of November.

Guided tour of the historic Bolton Street Cemetery
2PM Sun 19 OCT & 26 OCT
Tiptoe through the tombstones with the Friends of Bolton Street Cemetery and learn the stories of well-known names from history and the ordinary people who made their home here. $10 per person.

Sketching in the Rita Angus garden
12 - 4PM SUN 19 OCT
The garden at the Rita Angus Cottage will be open to visitors, who are encouraged to stay and sketch the array of flowers and plant life that surround the 1877 cottage where the artist Rita Angus lived between 1955 and 1970. Koha donation.
