Rise with World of WearableArt®

Aotearoa's largest arena spectacle World of WearableArt®, returns this month for it's twentieth year in the capital. This year's show, Rise, is designed to inspire and spread joy through creativity, awe and wonder.

To celebrate, our lobby is host to two remarkable garments and Artisan has embraced this years theme through our Aurora High Tea, a culinary tribute to the first flare of dawn.

GLORIOUS GARMENTS

Get up close

Our lobby is showcasing two remarkable garments from last year's show. On display are Fish by Jenny Sutton, crafted from recycled frost cloth and packaging, this piece was a finalist in the Natural World Catagory.

Also on display is 'Pieces of Us' by Vicky Robertson. Crafted from 10,000 jigsaw puzzle pieces, it represents a 20 year friendship built on shared passions. This structural garment was a finalist in the Avant Garde section of last year's show.

Bid adieu to the day and join us in for a chef's choice sharing platter and two glasses of house wine daily between 3pm and 6pm. The perfect prelude to World of WearableArt® .
