Awards For Excellence Best Hotel Winner

By Paul Johnson | 21 October 2019

Thursday 17th October saw hospitality providers from across New Zealand take time out from their busy schedules and descend on the beautiful Art Deco city of Napier for the Hospitality New Zealand Awards for Excellence.

Since making the shortlist for the coveted Best Hotel Award in August, it's been an anxious wait for the team at Bolton Hotel.

With tough competition from fellow shortlisted properties Castaways Resort in Waiuku and Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport, it was with great excitement and nerves that the team from Bolton awaited the results at the glamorous gala dinner held at Linden Estate.

We're thrilled to announce that Bolton Hotel took the award!

We always strive to surprise and delight our guests at every opportunity and couldn’t have achieved this without the tireless work from everyone in our fantastic team!

Having won the award in 2016, we're thrilled to once more bring the accolade home to Wellington. And the night proved to be fantastic for our cool little capital, with local haunts Neo and D4 on Featherston taking the accolades for best Café and Best Bar respectively.

It was a fantastic end to an already brilliant week in which our Chef de Partie Maddie Grace received the Up and Coming Chef award from at the Rising Stars Awards.

A huge congratulations to all of the night's award winners and heartfelt thank you to Hospitality New Zealand for hosting the event.
