We're thrilled to welcome you back to Wellington, but we understand that it may be unsettling for some to come out of lockdown so we're taking every measure to ensure your safety and comfort.

 

I'd like to personally offer my reassurance that Bolton Hotel is doing everything in our power to ensure your safety and comfort during your stay.

 

Our service and amenities will be a little different for the time being to ensure we can safely operate and we thank you for your patience as we all return to our ‘new-normal’. We’ll continue to update our procedures on the advice of the government and advisory associations.

 

 

Preventative measures

 

  • In keeping with government guidelines, contact tracing will be mandatory on entry to the hotel. We’ll just take a few details through a simple scan of a QR code or our team can take your details.

  • Social distancing measures are also in place throughout the hotel.

  • Our team, as always, are observing impeccable hygiene practices, avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of illness and staying home if unwell.

 

 

Public Spaces

 

  • We are enhancing our already thorough cleaning and disinfection of public spaces, with particular attention paid to touchpoints, including but not limited to EFTPOS terminals, lift buttons and touchscreens.

  • Hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel for both our guests and staff as an additional measure.

 

Lobby Café

 

  • Our Lobby Café will be open for takeout and table service from Monday 18th May.

  • Drinks and cabinet food will be available Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 2pm.

  • Our Grazing menu, along with hot and cold drinks will be available from 12noon - 9pm.

  • Telephone pre-ordering is also available, just call 0800 99 6622. Our menu can be viewed here.

  • We’re ensuring we are following guidelines set out by the government including

    • 1 metre spacing between tables.

    • Strictly no groups larger than 10.

    • Increased crowd management in public areas.

    • Contactless menus.

    • The same team member will take your order and serve you.

 

Artisan Restaurant

 

  • Artisan will remain closed for the time being.

  • Room service is still available.

  • Room service breakfast is still available.

 

 

Pool and Fitness Centre

 

  • Our fitness centre and lap-pool are now open with enhanced cleaning protocols and physical distancing measures in-place.

  • Currently, our spa-pool and sauna remain closed, we apologise for the inconvenience.

 

Rooms and Suites

 

  • Currently, rooms will only be serviced on request to limit contact.

  • Our excellent housekeeping team have enhanced their thorough cleaning regime following check-out, and have always used cleaning products that are effective in disinfecting.
