Since 2007, the Bolton Hotel has offered free, unlimited WiFi to all our guests with no restrictions, making us one of the first hotels in New Zealand to do so. 

In 2013 we installed iPad minis equipped with our exclusive Bolton Hotel App, placing a wealth of hotel information and services at our guests' fingertips. While our friendly staff are always available in person or at the end of the telephone, guests can quickly order room service, book a table at Artisan Dining House or browse the latest events and activities all through the app.

Our in-room iPads also complement our simple and efficient digital check-in. Eliminating the need to fill out countless registration cards and creating a tonne of paper waste, our friendly front desk team can check guests in with our bespoke iPads while guests relax in the lobby.

Being independent allows us to take direct control of our technology offerings, tailoring them to the needs of our guests and continuously improve our service.
